I do not make any doubt as to my opinions on Obama and how poorly I view his policies. I do not sit here and try to make lemonade from the lemons he has handed this nation, and the world for that matter. There just isn't anything he has done that I am in support of, and him vowing to close Gitmo is another blunder that I will not support.
At first my thoughts went to national security; the continued jail sentence is a recruiting tool for ISIS and other terror organizations. OK, I see your point. If the terrorists will use Guantanamo as a "recruiting tool" then I see WHY we would want to remove burning embers from the fire. What I don't see is how closing one prison and transferring them to another prison will make these terrorists any less angry. They view these prisoners as martyrs--- no maximum security prison will be an olive branch to appease ISIS and Al-Qaida. Even if these martyrs were released and allowed to go home, don't we all come to the conclusion that they will just continued to be used a recruiting/anti-America propaganda?
Of the 91 terrorists that remain housed in Gitmo, we will transfer 35 of them to other nations willing to take them. That leaves us with 56 terrorists that will be tried and housed on American soil. It's cheaper to do this we are told, but will this make us safer? Look at all of the people allowed into the USA who are affiliated with terrorist groups, and those Americans who are defecting to the terrorist networking propaganda. How is it safer to house these terrorists on American soil when jail breaks are possible and easier in landlocked areas? If the millions of dollars we paid in to keep Gitmo opened is so abhorred, then how is paying for lavish dinners and sporting events any less wasteful?
Obama claims the transfer of the terrorists will be responsible, but how is anything he has done so far prove as evidence that his administration is responsible? Obama did not, surprisingly, release the location as to what facility these terrorists are going to because he knows that no matter where he places them, there will be a great amount of opposition.
It's another performance piece from Obama; all smoke and mirrors.

Laissez-faire; Remember this concept? (Part one)
I have come to the conclusion that I am not mentally strong enough to listen to another person tout the glories of Bernie Sanders and his socialist ideas. I am not strong enough to listen to Hillary Clinton expound on the "good" work she did as Secretary of State and how being a woman is qualification enough for her to be President. No, I just can't do that anymore. The discussion of mental illness is not wide enough to cover that scope of people who are buying into this nonsense.
How do people not see the mind control and scare tactics being deployed on them? All these people claiming to be morally and intellectually superior are losing what socialism and liberals stand for. No, you are not a victim of democracy. You should not get a free college education, nor ANYTHING free for that matter. We are not stuck in the early 1900's where women are not paid equally and allowed to be the centerpiece of sexual advancements. Stop buying their "poor me" machine tactics.
What is being said to be "income inequality" probably more a case of pay being greater for those with more experience than another. I am hearing people talk about this as if we are a feudal society where you cannot rise from the station you are in currently. While those same people are using this as a way to hit back at the "greedy" corporations, they don't think to include their beloved entertainers in this mix. How do we not bring up the pay scale of actors, singers, athletes? These people are prime examples of why democracy and capitalism works. Don't believe me? How about everyone's favorite, Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift's case for not receiving payments from Apple's music store with the possibility of losing millions, if not billions, in revenue... How is this any different than a large corporation?
It seems like the places that these morally and intellectual people love most that are, in all fairness, a prime example of what they are fighting against is off limits. Can you imagine these same people NOT having access to Starbucks? -- The HORROR! For that matter.... Why haven't we heard or even seen a protest against Starbucks's high coffee prices? How FAIR is it for them to charge so much when not everyone can afford it? Also, where is the liberal go at 'em attitude to charge them with making people obese and diabetic? No, they are off limits apparently. I wonder what would happen if they would start holding Christian prayer groups; it's something to think about.
Which allows me to be free enough to say that liberals, and those who support Sanders and Clinton, only want to allow things to continue that they deem fit. If they don't like you or your business, you're on their personal hit list because you are mean, unfair and need to be taught a lesson. For this I blame the politicians and the liberal based education system constantly labeling us as a society. If we are labeled and placed into certain classes, we can fight against one another and ignore the freedoms and legislation being passed by our government. We're all victims according to Democrats and liberals, and if we see it any other way we are a threat to the governing political class's power.
Once we start thinking for ourselves we are dangerous, and placed on top of their enemy list. Mainly labeled as conservative bigots that must be squashed quickly or the country will succumb to greedy, mega-wealthy businesses. To believe in this idea that we're all a product of our choices is in complete contrast to their message. You have to believe that earning more money than others isn't right. That in order for you to be successful, you are keeping another person in poverty is the way to go, that way it is easier for you to hand over more money in taxes.
In order for liberals to continue gaining control of this nation, you must be brain washed into thinking YOU are the problem.... and it's working.
